Obtain Updates Virtually As They Happen
Now thanks to the marvels of technology, you can keep up to date with the latest information on TORBWine by using an RSS Feed (which stands for Really Simple Syndication.)
Its simple to use; all you have to do is install either a browser plug-in or small program and subscribe to the feeds on your favourite site. Then with the click of a mouse key you can see which of your favourite sites have been updated and can view a synopsis of the update. Very handy!
If you haven't done so already, you will need to obtain the software to make it happen. If you use Firefox as you browser, you can obtain the free plug-in here. If you prefer a standalone reader try: Feedreader, it's free. Opera has it as a standard feature.
I've set up one feed initially. When you click on the button below a prompt window will display with the url you need to copy into your RSS Reader to subscribe to the feed. This popup may be blocked in IE or Firefox, depending on your setting. Either allow blocked active content temporarily or right-click on the RSS icon and select "Copy Shortcut" from the menu, then paste into your RSS reader. For Opera, just copy the address into the URL box and press enter, it will ask you if you want to subscribe to the feed.
Its that simple! The Feed will notify updates for three main areas.
Feature Stories,/Tour Diaries, Articles,
and
News.
